  14.     The WinOnLine Review, Shareware Edition is distributed in the 
  15. Windows HELP (.HLP) file format. To view the HELP file, simply 
  16. unzip it into your Windows directory and double click on the file 
  17. name WOLRSxxx.HLP.

  19.     If it does not automatically load into the WinHelp program then you 
  20. will need to attach the extension (.HLP) to that program.  You do that by 
  21. locating the [extensions] section of your WIN.INI file and add the 
  22. following line to it:

  24.                           HLP=WINHELP.EXE ^.HLP
  25.  
  26.     After you add the above line, exit and restart Windows.
  27.  
  28.     Once you make that association you should not have to do it again.  
  29. You can now read all .HLP (HELP) files by simply clicking on them with 
  30. your mouse.

  32.     Another way to view our HELP file is to simple "RUN" the program
  33. WINHELP.EXE and load our file into it.

  35.     You will need to view our HELP file by using the Windows Help engine
  36. for Windows v3.1,

  38.                               "WINHELP.EXE"

  40. File dated 3/10/92. If you are running Windows v3.0 you will need to get
  41. the Windows v3.1 file named above. It is the Win v3.1 version of the help
  42. engine. The reason is that our HELP files are now compiled with that v3.1
  43. compiler which requires the WINHELP.EXE from Win v3.1 to view our HELP
  44. file.

  46.     As our magazine size grows we continue to look for ways to reduce our 
  47. file size while giving you more in every issue. The new Win 3.1 compiler 
  48. produces a much smaller help file and for that reason we have made the 
  49. change. I hope it is not too troubling to our Windows 3.0 users.
